That Shahid Kapoor is engaged Delhi girl Mira Rajput is no news. Since morning everyone has been talking about the Kapoor lad and his secret Dilliwali girlfriend. While we hear the Haider actor and his fiancee are planning to settle down by next year, our khoofiya khabroo has told us something which may shock many of us. Apparently, Ms Rajput wasn’t ready to to marry the B-town hunk who is currently busy with Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture Udta Punjab. Yes, heard that right! Our khabroo has told us that Mira was hesitant to take things forward with Sasha because of the age gap between the two.
While one shouldn’t believe everything they hear, in this case, its hard not to as Shahid is 34 and his fiancee is just 20. So if the latter wasn’t ready to marry the B-town hunk then how did things fell into place eventually? Well, we have learnt that it was Mira’s elder sister who convinced her to accept the proposal. Pankaj Kapur’s ladla beta also did a bit on his part to convince Ms Rajput. That’s what our khabroo told us.
Shahid and Mira met over a year ago and it was the Kaminey actor who asked the 20-year-old for her number. And that’s how the two continued to stay in touch over the phone. But if all this is true then it wasn’t easy for Mr Kapoor to get his relationship till here, hai na?
