Amitabh Bachchan is seen playing Deepika Padukone's doting daddy in Shoojit Sircar's next, Piku.
The trailer gives an exciting peek into the lives of the three entertaining characters of the family comedy-drama, Piku, wherein Deepika plays the title role of Piku, Big B is her father and Irrfan Khan too plays a vital role. The film is a roller coaster ride which concentrates on the crazy relationship between a father and daughter.
Piku is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by MSM Motion Pictures (a division of Sony Entertainment Network), Saraswati Entertainment and Rising Sun Films. The film will release in theatres on May 8, 2015.
