Last summer brought a massive storm to the world of sports and glamour and IPL franchise co-owner and actress Preity Zinta was at the centre of it. FIRs, allegations, mud-slinging and everything in between, happened between her and ex-beau Ness Wadia.

Her team made it to the finals but what made more news was why Preity Zinta filed a case of threat and physical harassment against co-owner Ness Wadia. Now, once again it is her equation with the business tycoon that has set the tongues wagging. She was seen sitting next to Wadia at the IPL players' auction last month, which was more than enough for the rumour mills to start their grind.
When a leading daily asked her about it, the actress retorted, "Why don't you ask him why he came and sat next to me? What did you want me to do, cut the table into two halves? Kings XI Punjab is my team and I've given everything, my hard-earned money. I gave up on my film career to be part of this."
"What happened between me and Ness was unfortunate. But the franchise is my baby and there's no question of me cutting of my involvement with it," she added.

The Wadias, so far, have maintained stoic silence over the entire episode and now that it looked like the dust is settling, Maureen Wadia made a statement that may give more fodder to media.
"We are very reclusive people and we seldom talk to the media. Having said that all I want to say is that whatever she has done is completely uncalled for and has left all of us in a very bad taste, apart from this the matter is subjudice and I wouldn't want to talk about the case," Wadia told NDTV recently.
Wonder how Preity Zinta will react to this, because she is not really known for taking anything lying down.
