Rumours are again starting to crop up that the much talked about Rajini-Shankar movie is still on the cards
Rajinikanth and director Shankar joined hands back in 2010 for a blockbuster movie called Enthiran aka Robot in Hindi. Post the film’s phenomenal success, rumours of a sequel to Enthiran have been doing rounds. Even Aamir Khan‘s name has been linked with the sequel, as rumours were rife that the Dhoom 3 actor will be playing villain in the film.
Now that Rajinikanth has suffered financial losses due to the below par performance of his last two releases – Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa, we here that the superstar is weary of signing an another film soon. But speculations are rife that the Rajini-Shankar sequel to Robot is still on cards.
As we all know Shankar doesn’t leave any stone unturned in making his film look perfect and shoots his films on a grand lavish budget, we wonder if Rajini and Shankar would be able to recover from the losses, if that film fails at box office. Is Rajini worried of failure, trying to keep himself away from the most talked about Enthiran sequel. While the fans eagerly wait for an official confirmation about the Enthiran sequel, we wonder the project will ever go on floors.
