Shahid Kapoor made a dhamakedaar entry on a bike at the opening ceremony of Indian Premiere League season 8. The actor even looked dapper in his traditional attire. What’s even more interesting is that the Kapoor lad even showed off his vocal skills at the Salt Lake stadium, Kolkata. Yes, Shahid sang the retro number I am a disco dancer before heading to the stage. While the Haider actor isn’t a great singer, his attempt wasn’t that bad as well. But what really caught my attention was the Udta Punjab hero’s OOPS moment. And mind you, they were two. When Shahid made his entry on bike, the B-town hunk bumped into the stage once and then he fumbled once when he went on the stage to perform.
Though the Shaandaar hero had a few awkward moments, he didn’t let it affect his performance. Shahid first paid a tribute to Mithun Chakraborty by dancing on his popular track I am a disco dancer and then he grooved on his own hit songs like Gandi baat and Saree ke fall sa.
Well, I thought Shahid Kapoor’s overall act at the IPL 8 wasn’t extraordinary but brownie points to him for being a thorough performer at the event
