After sharing screen space with ‘Bombay Velvet’ pair Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar will be directing the duo along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which will release on Diwali 2016. Karan Johar shared the news on Twitter.

The film will only go on floors in October this year, once Ranbir Kapoor has wrapped up ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan completes her comeback film, ‘Jazbaa’.

With Karan announcing the release date of his much ambitious project, it is quite evident that film will be clashing with Ajay’s upcoming directorial film “Shivaay” which is also slated to release on the same occasion.
The news also started trending on the micro-blogging site with the hashtag “#Diwali 2016”.
Meanwhile, Ajay is currently busy promoting his forthcoming thriller drama film “Drishyam”, which also stars Shriya Saran, Tabu and Rajat Kapoor. The film will release on July 31.
