There was a tough competition between Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale’ and Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on the first weekend. Having a strong star cast and noted directors like Rohit Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it was difficult to predict about which movie would outshine the other. With the box office result out now, we now know that Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale is a clear winner.
Dilwale has already collected a whopping Rs 100 crore worldwide in three days of its release and in India alone the movie has earnedRs 65 crore.
Dilwale had collected Rs. 21 cr on the first day, Rs. 20.09 cr on the second day and Rs. 24 cr on the third day. The SRK starrer film has collected Rs. 65.09 cr in its first weekend.
On the other hand ‘Bajirao Mastani’s first day collections were Rs. 12.80 cr, and it saw an upsurge in its collections on day two as it collected Rs. 15.52 cr and earned Rs. 18.45 cr on the third day. Total collections of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film are Rs. 46.77 cr.
Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani have collectively earned a whopping Rs. 111.86 cr in their opening weekend.
