What a coup! Salman Khan and Indian cricket captain for test matches, Virat Kohli, might just come together. No, not for a film. But a music video.
According to reports, the Belgian DJ duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have approached Salman Khan and Virat Kohli to star in the music video of their next dance music single. The duo, who are brothers, will come to India soon to perform in Hyderabad on October 8 and Mumbai on October 9 for the 10th anniversary celebrations of the dance music festival, Sunburn Arena Tour.
Reportedly, Salman and Kohli supported the DJ duo on social media recently in the 2016 DJ polls.
The CEO of Sunburn, Karan Singh, said that Dimitri and Mike shared a 'close bond' with the Tubelight star.
"Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike enjoy a long standing association with India. They enjoy a huge fan base in Bollywood with most of the A-listers being fans of their music. The collaborations are decided by their international management but yes Salman and Dimitri - Mike share a very close rapport," Singh said.
Dimitri in an interview with IANS had earlier spoken about his interest in working in Bollywood.
"We already did a couple of small Bollywood projects. But at this point we don't have anything on that front to perform for the people," Dimitri said.
Well, we hope that happens soon enough. Getting Virat Kohli and Salman Khan in a video is, without a doubt, the perfect Bollywood launch pad for them.
