No one likes to be defeated, and not by someone years their junior in the business. Bipasha Basu and Radhika Apte were contenders to play the title role in Priyanka Chopra's production based on astronaut Kalpana Chawla's life. The Parched actress beat the dusky Mrs Grover to land the role.
According to a source, "Radhika is not Priyanka's friend. Bipasha is and so she felt PC should have considered that. Bipasha has not signed a film post her marriage and had her hopes pinned on this film. But Priyanka felt fitted the part better. She expects Bipasha to understand that casting is not done on the basis of friendships. Right now, the sultry actress is sulking." Time's a healer lady!
