Working with Rajinikanth sir was a once-in-a-life-time opportunity.

I am a huge fan of the actor and I learnt a lot from him, including his qualities like humility and hard work. He is such a huge star, but he conducts himself with such dignity ," says the actress. The Parched actress is busy with her next outing in Bollywood, Padman directed by R Balki. The film is based on the life of Coimbatore-based social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of low-cost sanitary pad making machines who was conferred the Padma Shri in 2016. The film will delve into the trials and tribulations of the menstrual man (as he is popularly known), who invented the machine and generated aware ness about the unhygienic practices followed during menstruation in India.

The film stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte. "I met Muruganantham a few times while working in the film. I cannot talk about my role as I am under contractual agreement. " Radhika has been dabbling with films in six languages. When quizzed about working in different industries, she said, "I don't compare industries and I haven't really worked much in Tamil to talk about it. However, things are different when I am working in Bollywood as I understand the language. I am more comfortable shooting there. "
