This talented actor wants to double up as the heroine of Salman Khan's Bharat
Salman Khan’s Bharat is one of the most anticipated projects of 2019. A remake of the Korean classic Ode to my Father, it is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has made Tiger Zinda Hai. Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra who has become a known name in the West courtesy Quantico was supposed to make a big comeback in Bollywood after a couple of years with this mega project. The actress is also close to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita.
However, in a shocking announcement Ali Abbas Zafar informed everyone through a tweet that Priyanka in the ‘Nick’ of time told them that she could not do the film due to a very special reason. The team was cool with it and wished her loads of love and happiness. As of now, speculation is rife about who will join the Bharat team that already has Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi. Names like Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are doing the rounds.
Well, an in-house member from the Bharat team has applied for the part of the leading lady. He is not exactly a lady but has dressed as one in many occasions. We are talking about Sunil Grover, who is also a part of the film.
He made a video where he is seen dressed as a woman called Nancy. He says he is okay enough to be Salman Khan’s heroine in the film. Dressed in pink with a couple of plaits, Sunil looks hilarious. We know he is a talented man and it must have diffused the tension in the team about the new casting.
Sunil is a favourite of Salman Khan. Even after Kapil Sharma’s show went off air, he did the Supernight with Tubelight series with Sunil during the Tubelight promotions. He will play the part of Salman Khan’s friend in the film. Sunil is famous for his woman get up of Rinku Bhabhi, Suman and Gutthi. Ali Abbas Zafar also shared the video on his timeline.
