One of the most talked about marriages in Bollywood is that of Nawab of Pataudi and actor Saif Ali Khan and his sizzling hot diva of an actress wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. While romance seems to fade away in a lot of marriages once it has been a few years, when it came to ‘Saifina’ that was never the case.
The have been outspoken about their love for each other every single time and their romantic getaways have given even the best of people relationship goals.However, in a recent interview with film critic Rajeev Masand, Saif shocked the world first when he revealed the fact that his beloved wife Kareena no longer kissed him. For fans, that was like a moment when all faith was lost. After all, ‘Saifina’ are for many the benchmark for relationship goals.It is only after that moment had passed that one realised that it was all a joke.
Saif revealed that because he had to grow his facial hair for a certain character he played in a web series which has discouraged his wife Kareena and infant son Taimur from kissing him on the cheek or elsewhere on his face, for obvious reasons.
“Even my friends outside of the country have started to ask me if I had become a ‘hippe’. Even Taimur only kisses my hand these days, if I ask him to kiss my face, he just tilts his head on my cheek and that’s all I get, and the same scenario happens with my wife as well,” – Saif Ali Khan said.
So, don’t worry folks, Kareena not kissing Saif is not about them falling out of love, but its a joke that the Nawab made about his facial hair. Incidentally, Saif is working on a project which requires him to grow his facial hair even more and wear dreadlocks extensions on his hair. The actor revealed that this character he is playing is a ‘Sadhu Baba’ who is also a bounty hunter.
Meanwhile, he has been getting raving reviews for his performance in the recent web series that aired on an OTT platform. The show also starred critically-acclaimed actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kubra Seth among others.
