In the Turpeya song making we get to see how Sunil Grover's rehearsal for the song went all down the drain in the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat!
Salman Khan's upcoming movie Bharat is all set to release in a few days. The movie will open in theatres this Eid on June 5 and the promotions for the movie are on full swing. The makers recently released the making of their song Turpeya. When the song Turpeya was released it left many perplexed due to the title's alien meaning. However, in the recent video, the makers revealed the meaning of the song. Irshad Kamil who is the writer revealed what Turpeya meant. However, the best part of the entire making is when the makers revealed how Sunil Grover was fooled while the making of the song.
It happened so that, Adil Shaikh the choreographer of the song made Sunil Grover rehearse with Nora Fatehi, who is also featured in the song. The comedian rehearsed for the song for 10 days. However, after 10 days he was informed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of the movie that only his facial expressions are going to be a part of the movie and his dance routine won't be picturized.
The actor still danced like he wanted, anyway. Here check out the making of the song..
While talking about his stint in the movie, Sunil while talking to DNA After Hrs once said, "The team of Bharat offered me the role. Salman sir has always been nice and cordial with me, and complimented me. And now, it feels wonderful to be part of a film like Bharatwith such a big star. Actually, I feel lucky. Yes, playing old is nothing new for me, but this is done realistically. It’s an interesting part."
