Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Bharat has stirred a storm at the box-office this Eid and how! Fans are hailing the movie as one of Salman Khan's finest performance and have already declared it a smashing hit. That's not all, they are also flocking to the the theaters to watch the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial which is an official adaptation of Korean film an Ode To My Father. And now, the occupancy reports have come in and it is better than expected. The film has opened with a bumper start with over 65-70% occupancy in morning shows. Naturally, the festival of Eid is working its wonder and has given the the saga the jump-start it needs to be a blockbuster. And with the help of positive word of mouth, it poised to grow more. Having said that, it remains to be seen if it can manage to hold the fort in the evening and night shows courtesy the cricket World Cup. It might also face competition from Sophie Turner's X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

The film has released on the festive weekend of Eid, which means it will enjoy the extended weekend of 5 days. Well, by observing the current trend, we think Bharat will definitely score in the bracket of Rs 30-35 crore on its first day. In fact, it had all the chances to touch the Rs 40 crore mark but the ICC Cricket World Cup match between India and South Africa will definitely affect the film in the evening and night shows.

Though by looking at the fandom of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, we are sure that it will at least collect Rs 120 to Rs 130 crore in its extended first weekend. And if the film trends well, it might enter the Rs 300 crore club and become Salman Khan's fourth film to achieve this feat after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
