Shraddha Kapoor, who co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan in her maiden film, Teen Patti (2010), paid tribute to the film superstar. Last night, the actress published two slides on Instagram, which may be considered an Amitabh Bachchan appreciation post. "Kya, North, South, East, and West. Shraddha wrote: "Saara cinema ek taraf." In the next slide, the actress uploaded a photo of Big B as Ashwatthama in Kalki 2898 AD, captioned "Amitabh Bachchan ek taraf."

Shraddha Kapoor captioned the photo, "Amitabh Bachchan is a cinematic universe himself." Shraddha's Stree co-star, Abhishek Banerjee, also commented on her post. He wrote "Baap of all baaps." The comments section on Shraddha's article suddenly turned into an Amitabh Bachchan fanclub. An Instagram user commented, "He's doing this at the age of 81, what an absolute legend." Another person mentioned "the legend of Indian cinema."

Amitabh Bachchan's most recent film is Kalki 2898 AD. Prior to that, he appeared in Ganapath, alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. The veteran actor will star in a Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern, alongside Deepika Padukone. The actors have previously collaborated in the 2015 film Piku. Amitabh Bachchan will also co-star with Rajinikanth in TJ Gnanavel's untitled movie. Hum was a well-known collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth.

Shraddha Kapoor last appeared in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, with Ranbir Kapoor. The film, directed by Luv Ranjan, was a big smash when it came out last year. She also appeared in Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's film Bhediya, where she performed the song Thumkeshwari. Shraddha Kapoor has appeared in films like as Stree, Haider, Ek Villain, Luv Ka The End, Baaghi and Baaghi 3, ABCD 2, Rock On 2, Half Girlfriend, Batti Gul Metre Chalu, Chhichhore, Street Dancer 3, and Haseena Parkar.
