Jee Le Zaraa |
Will Jee Le Zaraa ever get a chance to shine? After announcing the film's filming postponement a couple years ago, Alia Bhatt has now spoken out about it.
The announcement of Jee Le Zaraa dates back to 2021. Since then, rumours have circulated that Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif's exit from the film have caused Farhan Akhtar's much-anticipated directorial project to be shelved. In a recent interview with News 18, Alia Bhatt at last acknowledged the delays and stated that the plan to produce the movie is still "very strong." What Alia said
When questioned about Jee Le Zaraa during the interview, Alia stated, "I believe the goal to create that movie is from everyone's standpoint. really powerful. Given the nature of the topic and the fact that we were discussing cooperation before when I mentioned Ed, it is clear that a strong team of collaborators is assembling here. Therefore, the goal is to make it happen. Sometimes everything has its own place and time, you just need to wait for it to happen. However, I believe that everyone's true goal is to have this movie released on a large screen at some point.
The buddy road movie will mark Farhan’s directorial comeback after over a decade, was announced on the 20th anniversary of his 2001 directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai. Farhan went on to announce Don 3 as his next project last year, with Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
Last year in August, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar denied the rumours of the film getting shelved and said that they are just waiting for dates of the actors.
Meanwhile, it still looks like the film will take some more time to go into floors. Alia has Jigra, Love and War and the Yash Raj films action franchise next. Priyanka has the release of Heads of State, and she is currently shooting for The Bluff. Meanwhile, Katrina has not announced her next project yet.
