Though he and Jennifer Lopez have been "over for months," Ben Affleck was seen spending time with two of his children on the West Coast while they celebrated the "long weekend" throughout the nation.

At Kaz The Soba Place in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the "Argo" star was spotted having fun with Violet and Seraphina, the children of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
While Violet, who is sometimes described to as Garner's lookalike, placed her arm around Affleck's neck and struck up a conversation with him on the way to the joint, Affleck even cracked a rare smile.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner, his children, and two of their friends were all seated outside the restaurant and were observed speaking and eating.

Affleck wore a grey graphic T-shirt, shorts, grey trainers and an unbuttoned plaid long sleeve shirt for a more laid-back ensemble during the family outing.
Violet, eighteen, wore a maxi skirt in blue and white and a long-sleeved blue hoodie. She also wore face masks, her trademark glasses and black trainers.

The 15-year-old Seraphina likewise adopted a low-key look, sporting the same buzzcut the adolescent wore in February and a grey T-shirt.
Lopez, 54, continued to post on social media throughout this time, hinting to her Fourth of July weekend getaway.
The “On the Floor” singer reposted a video meme of a girl and a guy having quite the dance-off and captioned the Instagram Story Wednesday, “Long weekend mood…”

A few hours later, Lopez shared a video of herself smiling while seated with two other persons in the front seat of a convertible.
She scribbled over it, "bom dia meu povo," which means "good morning, my people."

Although it's unknown exactly where Lopez was experiencing her epiphany, the same day in New York City, she was seen sporting a crop top that read, "JLO BE MY MAMA."
Since Lopez moved out of their shared house and into a rented property in May, Affleck and Lopez, who have been married since 2022, have been the subject of separation rumours.
