According to an IANS report, singer Harshdeep Kaur has made her best friend Mankeet Singh her companion for life by marrying him in a hush-hush ceremony. The ‘Kabira’ singer took to social networking site Facebook to share the news. “Got married to my Best Friend Mankeet Singh yesterday… Need your blessings,” [sic] read a post on her Facebook page on Saturday (March 21, 2015). The 28-year-old also posted a photograph of herself along with the groom in the midst of the traditional Sikh wedding ceremony.

According to a report on Indiatoday.intoday.in, Shahid Kapoor is not tying the knot with Mira Rajput, a third year student of English (Honours) from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. The report quoted a classmate of Mira saying that Mira had told them she is not dating Shahid Kapoor or getting married to him. Mira is a very private person and Shahid is only a family friend, the report further stated.
However, a recent report in Bombay Times stated that Shahid is all set to marry Mira Rajput in December 2015. The couple reportedly got engaged in January on Makar Sankranti (January 14, 2015), stated BT. Apparently, Shahid met Mira through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas.
