Shah Rukh Khan: Shah Rukh Khan is called Bollywood’s King Khan for a reason. Right now, the star is one of the richest celebrities in the country. Shah Rukh Khan who started his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s is now the ‘Baadshah’ of the Bollywood. When SRK first came to Mumbai, he only had 1500 Rs in his pocket. The actor also revealed in a show that he used to earn Rs. 50 a day. Hard work does it, indeed!



Amitabh Bachchan: Bollywood Big B hails from a big family, yet the actor had a rough start in his career. The actor has spent a lot of nights sleeping on benches in Mumbai because he had no roof over his head and no money in his pocket.




Rajinikanth: People in South idolize Rajinikanth no less than a god. Now a legendary actor, was once used to work as a coolie to survive each day. Not only that, but the actor has worked as a bus conductor too. Growing up, making it big in the world wasn’t really easy for the actor. He had to work day and night.


Akshay Kumar: Akshay Kumar has seen it all and been through all. Before starting a career in Bollywood, the actor worked as a waiter in Bangkok. Akshay‘s main job was to wash the dirty dishes. Afterwards, Akshay worked as a chef and was paid only 1000 baht, which equals to Rs. 1500. Akshay used to sleep on the kitchen floor.



Johnny Walker: Indian comedian, Johnny Walker, born as Budruddin Jamaluddin Kazi, was born in a poor family. His father was a textile mil worker. Johnny‘s family consisted of 15 members. After his father’s factory was shut down, they came to Mumbai, then known as Bombay. Johnny tired his hand at several jobs but nothing worked out. Finally, he worked as a bus conductor in B.E.S.T bus service. He used to entertain his passengers with his hilarious antics. His this knack got him spotted by actor and writer Balraj Sahni and then began his career in Indian film cinema.
