Saif Ali Khan's reaction on being asked about working with Shahid Kapoor

A few days back, we had informed you about the fact that Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor have been roped in for a film by director Vishal Bharadwaj. Back then, one was yet to receive a confirmation regarding the same. However, we're no longer in the speculation zone now. At a mobile launch event that took place in Mumbai some time back, Saif spoke about this new film that he's been signed on.


At the event, Saif was quizzed about his association with Vishal Bharadwaj, and this two-hero project. A website has quoted Saif as saying, as a response to that, "Yes, I am looking forward to it. I love Vishal's films; the way he characterises his actors. I am really looking forward to it."

Now, the grapevine is in quite a tizzy given the fact that Shahid and Saif will be seen together on screen. The reason about the same is not exactly breaking news. While Shahid and Kareena Kapoor were an item back during the Jab We Met days, Kareena then met Saif and added his surname after her own a couple of years later. Shahid and Saif have not had to cross paths after that...a feat which some consider mere coincidence, and conspiracy theorists call clever avoiding tactics.

Whatever the real reason behind that might have been, the two actors will soon have to work together. Thank Vishal Bharadwaj for making the seemingly-impossible possible!
