WHY AJAY DEVGN’S SHIVAAY GOT POSTPONED?

Ajay Devgn’s next directorial venture “Shivaay” was set to roll in Rocky Mountains of west of Calgary in Alberta in February. The actor was already in Canada with his entire team to begin the first schedule shooting that was expected to be shot till May 2015. But unfortunately, nothing worked as planned and whole crew had to return back to India.

When contacted, a source close to the team cited ‘Bad Weather’ as the reason behind its delay.

“Everything was planned. We were going to begin the shooting by the end of Janu, but unfortunately weather became a spoilsport. Major sequences were to be shot in snow, but there wasn’t enough snow as required.”

To confirm the news about the weather, I contacted a friend who is an entertainment news reporter at a leading daily in Alberta, and he also accepted that the weather has suddenly changed.

“It’s true that we have had a few weeks of unseasonable warmth in Alberta. As my understanding, the shoot wasn’t going to start for another month (end of Feb.) so they decided to return back. We could, and likely will, get plenty of snow between now and then.”

With this surprising postponement, Shivaay has now been pushed to an indefinite date and the team has not a choice expect waiting for the appropriate time for the shooting to begin. However, there is also news coming that Ajay Devgn will begin shooting for Milan Luthria’s “Baadshaho” till the weather gets clear.
