Actress Ritika Singh's look in the trailer of 'Saala Khadoos' is receiving 'immense appreciation' from the viewers, says filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who has co-produced the forthcoming bilingual sports drama film.
Ritika, who celebrated her 22nd birthday on Wednesday, got a special cake from Hirani which is in the shape of boxing gloves as she is a real life boxer too. "We have received immense appreciation for Ritika since the trailer launch. She has already garnered a fan following. I wish her all the luck and best wishes on her special day,” Hirani said in a statement.
The trailer of “Saala Khadoos”, which also stars actors R. Madhavan, was launched on Tuesday. The story of the film is about a rustic fisherwoman (Ritika), who is groomed into a match-winning boxer by Madhavan's character. The trailer of the film has received positive response on Twitter from many Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Shruti Haasan, Boman Irani, Shilpa Shetty, Swara Bhaskar and Hansal Mehta. “Saala Khadoos”, co-produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures, will hit the theatres on January 28.
