In the early morning tweet, noted comedian Kapil Sharma hits back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The comedian claimed that he had been paying Rs 15 crore income tax for the last five years and still had to pay Rs 5 lakhs as a bribe to the BMC.
He wrote on Twitter: “I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi. Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi”
During the 2014 elections, the BJP had used Acche din aane waale hain(Good days are coming) as their primary slogan to gain vote from the public. These days, various incidences are coming into forefront which put the Moidi government under scanner.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has failed to keep up the promise what they are supposed to do. BMC always remain under corruption scanner failing to do their work sincerely and corruption-free.
Congress Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi backed Sharma's comments.
