Freaky Ali box office collection day 2

Freaky Ali box office collection day 2: Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer did average business on Friday considering the fact that the film is made on a low budget.

Freaky Ali starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui did average business on Friday considering the fact that the film is made on a low budget. The film also stars Amy Jackson and Arbaaz Khan. Freaky Ali is directed by Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan. The film saw around 10-15% occupancy on its first day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,” #FreakyAli Fri ₹ 2.55 cr. India biz.” The film is expected to do more business on Saturday and Sunday.

Freaky Ali stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. He plays a common man trying to excel in the game of golf, which is mostly considered a rich man’s game. Besides Nawazuddin, the movie also stars Amy Jackson and Arbaaz Khan, and mainly targets a certain audience. The highlight of the movie remains Nawazuddin’s performance. Salman Khan had in the past days promoted the film at several events.

Arbaaz Khan who does a supporting role also received some praise for being nonchalant in his approach while playing second fiddle. There were a few who however felt, that the Khan brother was wasted in this out and out Nawaz show.

Freaky Ali has its hope tied on the sole performance of Nawazuddin. The amazing actor has already given us some stunning character performances in last few years. But it is just a matter of time to know whether or not he will be able to live up to the expectations of people in this solo commercial lead. But looking at the way masses have been reacting after the first show, Freaky Ali might just become a sleeper hit and work well courtesy positive word of mouth.

The total budget of Freaky Ali is around Rs 19 crores. The movie has also got less number of screens as compared to the other big release this weekend – Baar Baar Dekho.
