Sonakshi Sinha revealed that her father, Shatrughan Sinha, was very impressed by her film Force 2.
As demonetisation resulted in a dry run at the box office for Bollywood last week, Force 2 broke the streak with an impressive opening. Sonakshi Sinha, whose performance in the film is being highly praised, revealed that her father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha complimented her performance.
The Akira actor also revealed that Shatrughan found her and actor John Abraham as "made for each other." Shatrughan watched the screening of the action-thriller in Delhi. "He took his friends and the police commissioner with him. They all loved it. Until now, my dad never called any of my co-stars and talked to them. But this time he did and even said that our (John and Sonakshi) jodi is made for each other. He was very happy and proud of the film. That's enough for me," Sonakshi said.
Shatrughan also congratulated the film's director, Abhinay Deo.
Compliments have been pouring in from all quarters, with actor Akshay Kumar also showering praises on the film. "Akshay is quite impressed with the kind of action sequences we did in the film," Sonakshi said.
