Indian Idol is all set to make a comeback on TV with Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik as judges!
It seems like the veterans are making comeback to where they started. Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik are all set to rerun to TV with Indian Idol season 7. There will be another judge on the show and talks are on with a leading Bollywood actress, who can be part of this. After five years, Sony TV is bringing the original format back once again.
Sonu and Anu might not be singing and composing many songs like they used to be in 90s and early 2000 but they will be back doing what nation has seen them do many years back. They will be judging the seventh season of Indian Idol coming soon on Sony TV. The sixth season came in 2012 but later the channel publicized the Indian Idol Junior format.
The show gave us voices like Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul Vaidya, Prajakta Shukre and Shriram. Anu and Sonu will be shooting for the on air campaign today in Mumbai. Anu Malik remained one of the judges on Indian Idol till the seniors season ended. He has been accompanied by judges like Farah Khan, Alisha Chinai, Udit Narayan and Javed Akhtar. Malik also judged the first Asian Idol held in Indonesia. In Indian Idol 4, he appeared with Sonali Bendre, Kailash Kher and Javed Akhtar.
