After playing an intense character in his last flick Fitoor, much to his relief and happiness, Aditya Roy Kapur will now be seen portraying a guy-next-door in his next, OK Jaanu.
Opening up about his role in his upcoming movie OK Jaanu, the 30-year-old actor said that he is very excited to play a relaxed guy after a long time.
“It’s after a while that I am doing a relaxed and happy character. So I am very excited,” he said.
OK Jaanu, which is directed by Shaad Ali and Kapur and produced by Dharma Productions, is scheduled to hit the theatres in January.
On the Mohammad Rafi controversy surrounding Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM), the Aashiqui 2 star said, “Well, I would just say that, if anyone made fun of me, not to say that I am Mohammad Rafi, I would take it lightly. We should have a sense of humour, it is all said in fun.”
In a particular scene in ADHM, lead actor Anushka Sharma jocularly says, “Mohammed Rafi gaate nahi, rote the.” This apparently did not go down well with the late singer’s son Shahid Rafi, who now expects a public apology from the Dharma Productions head honcho, Karan Johar.
Other than OK Jaanu, which also stars Kapur’s Aashiqui 2 co-star Shraddha Kapoor, the actor will also be seen in SRK-Alia starrer Dear Zindagi.
