Mani Ratnam is stable now, as per reports.
Director of iconic films like Roja and Bombay, Mani Ratnam was hospitalised recently after he complained of chest pains. As per reports, the director is stable now and doctors are observing his health closely. Another report suggests that PRO of the director claims he was just admitted for routine checkup. More details on the same will be known soon enough.
Many actors and other members of Tamil film industry have visited the director at the hospital in Chennai. However, this isn’t the first time that Ratnam has complained of chest pains. Apparently, he survived a heart attack during the shoot of Yuva starring Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Esha Deol. Later, he felt the same in 2009 and also in 2016 when he was hospitalised.
Mani Ratnam recently wrapped up his next multi-starrer, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which boasts a megastar cast including STR aka Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa.
