Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently shot for a tribute song for the CRPF personnel martyred in Pulwama attack in February this year. Titled Tu Desh Mera, the four-minute song also features actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Kartik Aaryan.

The song is backed by Happy Productions India. They took to Twitter to share a picture of the Jazbaa actress shooting for the song. They wrote, "#AishwaryaRaiBachchan recently shot for the Tribute Song for the Martyrs of #Pulwama For which @SrBachchan @aamir_khan #RanbirKapoor @TheAaryanKartik etc have already shot.

According to reports, aound 14 actors have been approached to shoot for the song.

Talking about getting Aishwarya on board, Abhishek Mishra, MD, Happy Productions India, told Times Of India, "We are really happy to share that along with other major Bollywood stars, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has also supported and recently shot with us and will be featuring in the song 'Tu Desh Mera', which is a tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama."

Pulwama attack was the deadliest terror attack witnessed in three decades of Kashmir's insurgency. At least 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) paramilitary troopers were killed in the attack by a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) suicide bomber. The attack, which took place on February 14, left the nation in shock and anger.

Jaish bomber Adil Ahmed Dar, 20, rammed a SUV loaded with 350 kilograms of explosives into one of the buses - carrying 35-40 troopers - out of a 78-vehicle CRPF convoy. While 40 were killed in the attack, several injured personnel continue to battle for their lives. In retaliation, India performed Balakot surgical strike on February 26.
