Radhika Apte, an acclaimed actress, has recently joined the star-studded ensemble of Sriram Raghavan's highly awaited film Merry Christmas. Radhika will appear in a pivotal cameo role in this thrilling thriller with Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif. This is her third cooperation with Raghavan, following their successful undertakings in Badlapur and Andhadhun.
According to a tweet by journalist Rahul Raut, Radhika will make a cameo appearance in the Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi film. Other facts about Radhika's character in the film, on the other hand, are being kept under wraps.
Merry Christmas was originally scheduled to be released in December 2022. The release date, however, has been moved out to December 2023. The release date has yet to be announced by the creators.
A source informed Bollywood Hungama, "It was mentioned in the media that Merry Christmas vacated the Christmas date because the makers didn't want to clash with Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, and Tiger Shroff's Ganapath." These arguments would have been true if the film had been completed quickly. Unfortunately, the preparations were derailed when Katrina Kaif tested positive for Covid-19 in June. A crucial schedule spanning over 30 days was planned, starring not just Katrina Kaif and co-star Vijay Sethupathi, but also other actors. It took a bit for the producers to organise and secure everyone's dates once Katrina tested positive."
