Gadar 2 Lands In Controversy As Sunny Deol & Ameesha Patel’s Romantic Scene In Gurudwara Surfaces

Om Raut, the director of Adipurush, and actress Kriti Sanon are currently in controversy for kissing near Tirupati's Shri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Another issue has just emerged, this time involving Gadar 2. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is upset because a sequence in the film with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel was shot at a Guruwdwara. Continue reading to find out more.

Gadar was released in 2001, starring Sunny and Ameesha. Amrish Puri played the actress's father, a famous Pakistani figure. He was opposed to his daughter, Sunny, marrying an Indian. But, with the aid of a friend and his son, the actor was able to reclaim his wife.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel will reprise their roles in Gadar 2. Utkarsh Sharma, who played their kid in Part 1, will reprise his role as their adult son. While fans eagerly await the film's premiere, it has already been embroiled in an ugly incident. Sunny and Ameesha are shown at a Gurudwara, arms in arms, with dhols in the backdrop in one of the leaked BTS scenes. The SGPC has opposed to filming a love scene in a religious setting. An investigation has been launched against director Anil Sharma and the actors.

According to a statement issued by the SGPC, "we strongly objected to the shooting of objectionable scenes of Gadar 2 within the limits of Gurudwara Sahib." A video has also been shared on Twitter criticising Anil Sharma, Sunny Deol, and Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2 sequence.

According to the statement, the leaked film was obtained from a private phone and the scenario was improperly edited.
