Rights of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming films Jawan and Dunki sold at ₹480 crore
The rights to Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming flicks Jawan and Dunki have been sold for a staggering sum following the record-breaking success of Pathaan.

The year 2023 is dubbed the Shah Rukh Khan year. In his first movie in more than four years, the spy thriller Pathaan, he launched 2023 with a record-breaking triumph. Fans are now anticipating the release of the actor's next two flicks, Jawan by Atlee and Dunki by Rajkumar Hirani. The recent news that the Jawan trailer will be affixed to the prints of Tom Cruise's spy thriller Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, which opens in Indian theatres on July 12, has fans hyped. They now have still more reason to rejoice.

Rights to Jawan and Dunki at an exorbitant cost
According to a rumoured rumour, Jawan and Dunki, both of Shah Rukh's next projects, are being auctioned for a staggering 480 crore. As stated in the study, “The rights of Jawan, digital, satellite and music, have been sold for about ₹250 crore. The rights of Dunki have been sold for about ₹230 crore, which individually, to this date, stands as the highest for any film.”
The success of Pathaan Pathaan, in which Shah Rukh played the main role for the first time since Aanand L Rai's disastrous 2018 film Zero, shattered several records in the movie business. Its rights sold for around Rs. 100 crore. Currently, Prime Video is streaming the movie. The Hindi version of Sidharth Anand's film, which also has Salman Khan in a cameo and Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Dimple Kapadia in major parts, took in around 543.05 crore nationally. Pathaan was also made available in Telugu and Tamil.
Sources claim Shah Rukh Khan's action persona in the Jawan teaser, which will be shown alongside this movie in theatres, would "blow fans away."
About Jawan
Atlee Kumar is the director of the action-thriller Jawan. Along with Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, and Thalapathy Vijay making cameo appearances, it also has Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Priyamani in prominent parts. Shah Rukh will allegedly play two characters in the movie. On September 7, it will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, and Kannada.
About Dunki
Rajkumar Hirani, who is also the film's director, has never worked with Shah Rukh before. Taapse Pannu also appears in the movie, which was co-written by Kanika Dhillon, Abhijat Joshi, and Rajkumar. This year, it is scheduled to be released around Christmas.
