According to producer M N Kumar, he has brought the matter to the South Indian Film Chamber.

| Kichcha Sudeepa in trouble after Kannada producer alleges he evaded him after taking remuneration for film |
After the release of his movie, VikrantRona, South starlet Kichcha Sudeepa took a hiatus. The actor is back, though, and on Monday he unveiled the trailer for his upcoming film, provisionally titled Kichcha46. The actor is making news for other reasons, though. Sudeepa has been charged with defrauding producer M N Kumar after accepting payment but declining to work on the movie.
For the uninitiated, M N Kumar has already funded multiple Sudeepa films. The actor, according to him, pocketed more than 9 crores and hasn't given him any dates. Kumar claimed, in an interview with Bangalore Times, “I have already paid his complete remuneration, but he is yet to give me his dates for the film.”
Explaining the matter further, he added, “I have paid him around Rs 9 crore, even paid Rs 10 lakh for the renovation of his kitchen because he asked me to, and additionally paid an advance to director Nanda Kishore and got the title for this film - Muttatti Satyaraju - registered with the film chamber. But now, he has announced a film with a Tamil producer. He had assured me that he would start my film post-Kotigobba 3 and Pailwan, but that did not happen. After that, he pushed it further by saying that he would after VikrantRona.”
Sudeepa was charged for being unreachable after promising to start filming a movie after Vikrant Rona. Kumar claimed he made many attempts to contact Sudeep but was unsuccessful. He has brought the matter up with the South Indian Film Chamber and is willing to work with Sudeepa to find a solution.
Kichcha Sudeepa, on the other hand, has not yet replied to the allegations.
