Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal married in December 2021, after dating for two years. They held large wedding celebrations at Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Vicky Kaushal said on the final season of Karan Johar's chat programme Koffee With Karan 8 that his proposal was not very dramatic, and that he proposed to Katrina Kaif just a day before the wedding. "It was very last minute," Vicky Kaushal admitted. The actor stated that it happened during a dinner in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan (their wedding destination). Vicky said, "I was cautioned by everyone that if you don't propose, you'll have to be prepared for the rest of your life to hear about it.I did that one day before the wedding It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come."
