11 Bollywood Debuts You Have To Watch Out For In 2015

With numerous amazing movies coming your way, 2015 certainly seems to be an exciting year for Bollywood. And why not? Anushka Sharma is making her debut as a producer with NH10, Karan Johar is making his debut as a villain in Bombay Velvet, Shahid and Kareena are doing a movie together, after their infamous break up, in Udta Punjab, and what not! So there’s certainly a lot of stuff happening in Bollywood this year, including an array of very interesting debuts. Here's who you need to watch out for.

1. Mahira Khan

After Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan stole our hearts and whisked a Filmfare award for Khoobsurat last year, the next Pakistani to enter Bollywood is going to be Mahira Khan.

And she's going to be making her debut opposite none other than Shahrukh Khan in Raees. She's already a popular name in Pakistani cinema, and she's getting nothing less than a dream

Bollywood debut. One lucky girl, must say!

2. Suraj Pancholi

You might already know about this guy for the wrong reasons. Suraj had come into the limelight after getting involved in the Jiah Khan suicide case.

But leaving the debacle behind, Aditya Pancholi's son will soon be making his debut in Subhash Ghai's remake of Hero.

3. Athiya Shetty

Sunil Shetty's beautiful daughter Athiya will be marking her Bollywood debut this year.

And she's starring opposite Suraj Pancholi in the remake of Hero. Apparently, both Suraj and Athiya are Salman Khan's proteges.

Perhaps the guy has some agenda to mentor a handful actors every year!

4. Swastika Mukherjee

The doe eyed Bengali beauty is quite a popular name in Bengali cinema, and she is all set to make her Bollywood debut this year against Sushant Rajput Singh.

She'll be seen as the lead actress in Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy this year. In fact, she has already done a Bengali movie based on Byomkesh Bakshi's character back in 2010.

5. Harshvardhan Kapoor

Yes, yes, we all know he's Sonam Kapoor's younger brother and Anil Kapoor's son.

And soon the lad will be making his Bollywood debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirziya. Quite a fancy title right there!

6. Ayesha Kapur

Does the name ring any bells? No? Somewhat? Well, check out the picture below and it'll all come rushing to you!

She's the same girl who played the younger Rani Mukerji in the much appreciated film Black. But this time she's making her debut as a full fledged heroine in Shekhar Kapur's Paani opposite Sushant Singh Rajut. How the kids have grown. Sigh!

7. Kapil Sharma

This is one story we have all seen from scratch - how Kapil struggled to become a stand up comic and how he launched a super successful comedy show on TV.

The man will soon be making his Bollywood debut as a hero, romancing four heroines in his debut movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. Now that's a rare and endearing Bollywood success story!

8. Pooja Hegde

The pretty lass already has quite a few Tamil and Telugu movies in her kitty. And it seems like she has fetched herself a perfect dream debut in Bollywood.

She'll be starring against none other than Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowarikar's magnum opus Mohenjo Daro.

9. Saiyami Kher

The girl is an ex Kingfisher calender model, hence the oomph! But perhaps good looks run in her genes, because she's the granddaughter of yesteryear actress Usha Kiran.

She'll be making her debut opposite Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor in Mirziyan.

10. Kunal Kohli

Yes, it's quite a surprising move from Hum Tum's director, but it's actually happening!

He'll soon be making his acting debut in a self directed flick (of course!) Phir Se, which also marks the Bollywood debut for TV actress Jennifer Winget. Let's see how he fares in front of the camera!

11. Karan Johar

So this one is no secret! In fact it's one of the most talked about Bollywood debuts of 2015! Karan Johar will be seen as the bad guy in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet.

In fact there are supposedly portions in the movie where he'll be romancing Anushka Sharma. That's something to watch out for, right?
