While filmmakers often find it difficult to get two popular stars together for a film, Karan Johar seems to have achieved a feat that others normally would only dream of. Though not for a film, this director-producer is all set to get together Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh on the couch of his much talked about chat show Koffee With Karan.
Speculations about who would be attending the show with Ranveer Singh have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. While the strongest ‘conjecture’ (in Karan’s words) was that Ranveer would be coming hand-in-hand with his alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone, fans of the couple may be a tad bit disappointed. However, the Ranbir – Ranveer combo would equally be intriguing considering that the former was Deepika’s ex-boyfriend.
As Karan had promised in the promo and the first episode, though the actors would be the same, this fifth season will see new permutations and combinations. By far, we have seen the episode of Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt and have received a glimpse of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s episode that will go on air on November 13.
