Varun Dhawan starrer close to Rs 100 crore mark in just three days of release
It's been a helluva ride for the makers of 'Judwaa 2' as the film has opened to phenomenal numbers and is expected to grow in the coming days. A recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com states that the film has collected Rs 90 crore gross worldwide and is only inches away from the Rs 100 crore mark.
There was no Pakistan release over the weekend which could have been one of the better markets, further states the report. The film's worldwide collections rank fifth amongst the films released in 2017, only preceded by blockbuster hits like 'Baahubali 2' and 'Tubelight' on the global circuit.
This could be an amazing feat for the trio of Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu, who has moved mountains to make the second installment of the 1997 film bigger and better. While Salman Khan's cameo sure is one of the highlights of the film, it is Varun's growing star power that has made this one a success. With no big releases next week, 'Judwaa 2' is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore milestone in no time.
