There is a wedding on the Bollywood horizon, if the grapevine is to be believed. Buzz is that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will exchange garlands at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy on November 20.
According to a report in a leading publication, the preparations for the Ranveer-Deepika wedding are already in full swing. An insider revealed that Ranveer's house is currently being refurbished, and he is staying at a five-star hotel in Bandra till the work is complete. He is expected to return home by the end of next week, after his house is fully renovated.
"I don't know if Ranveer and Deepika will live there after marriage, but renovations are being performed, and Ranveer has shifted to a hotel," the source said.
Reports suggest that the wedding will be a close-knit affair that will be attended only by the couple's families and a few close friends. In fact, it is said that Ranveer and Deepika are so determined to keep it a low-key affair that they have requested their guests to not bring mobile phones to their big day.
Love blossomed between Ranveer and Deepika during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), and the couple has been going strong ever since. In 2016, on Karan Johar's chat show, Ranveer referred to Deepika as "marriage material".
