Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and starring Prabhas as Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita (Janaki), and Saif Ali Khan as Ravanan, has been making headlines since its announcement. While the film's VFX got harsh criticism when its trailer was released on October 2, 2022, the T-Series project earned little praise for its songs and edited VFX work.

According to a recent Bollywood Hungama report, Adipurush has already returned over 85% of its budget before its June 16 debut in theatres. According to the report, the Prabhas-Kriti Sanon-Saif Ali Khan co-staring picture has recovered a huge Rs 432 crore of its total Rs 500 crore budget.
So, how did Adipurush manage to gather these returns before to its release? According to the report, the Om Raut-directed film, based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, has earned Rs 247 crore in non-theatrical profits from satellite rights, music rights, digital rights, and other ancillary rights.
In addition, the Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan co-starrer has earned a minimum guarantee of Rs 185 crore from its theatre income in the South. With these figures, the next T-Series film has already recovered Rs 432 crore, or 86.4% of its Rs 500 crore budget, before it ever touches theatres.
According to the site, trade projections suggest that Adipurush's company would witness an exponential starting collection, with over Rs 100 crore pouring in during its first three days (first weekend) - from the Hindi version alone.
Aside from Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage play key parts in Adipurush.
