Netizens and celebrities have reacted differently to his disclosure. Manoj Bajpayee was said to have made a dig at Naseer over his comments, and the actor has now explained.
Manoj has long admired the renowned actor, and he was one of Manoj's inspirations for entering the film profession. However, following Naseer's surprising comment regarding Filmfare trophies, Manoj stated that Filmfare is like a dream to him, which was interpreted as a covert jab at Naseer. Fortunately, the Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai actor has cleared the air over this supposed verbal brawl.
Manoj Bajpayee clarified his remarks regarding Naseeruddin Shah on Twitter, saying, "Kya yaar! Please hear what I stated in response to the question, "What is my memory of filmfare awards?" It was not a response to anyone!" "Meri aukaat nahi ki main Naseer bhai se uunchi aawaz mein bhi baat kar paun!" he remarked in another tweet. "Samachaar kahaan kahaan se."
Meanwhile, Naseeruddin Shah confessed to Lallantop, "When I built a farmhouse, I decided to put these awards there." Because the handles are constructed of Filmfare awards, whomever goes to the loo will receive two awards."
