This year hasn’t been a good one for Katrina Kaif. First all the hullaballoo regarding Tamasha and how Kat was affected by it and now that Kat has her own upcoming films to occupy her, they’re sadly not turning out well. Director Abhishek ‘Gattu’ Kapoor’s Fitoor apparently is not shaping up well and the director is said to be not entirely happy with the way things are going. According to a report on Bollywood Life, a source from the sets says, “Gattu is disappointed with the way the film is shaping up.
He is so infuriated that he has called for a reshoot of a lovemaking scene between the film’s lead pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif, which he believed wasn’t ‘up to the mark’.”
Trouble with the film started when veteran actress Rekha decided to walk out of the project midway after shooting a few scenes and delaying the film’s schedule. Tabu joined the film soon after and the shooting resumed, but as soon as the director saw the first few rushes, the source said, “Gattu didn’t like what he saw in the edit and has now decided to take out more time to do-over a few scene.”
Apparently, Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapur’s passionate lovemaking scene is just one of the scenes that will be redone, reveals the source. “Aditya and Katrina had shot for the scene but it didn’t turn out well.
The team with its lead cast reshot the entire scene at a suburban studio on Monday.”
While the director was trying to satisfy and meet his artistic expectations, poor Katrina was apparently fuming at the thought having to do an intimate scene all over again! The source revealed, “Katrina is angry with the director and strongly disagreed on the point of reshooting the entire sequence. In fact, till the last moment, the crew had no clue if the shoot was happening at all. Eventually, the producers calmed Kat down and got her to agree to the scene again. But not before she threw a major fit. Intimate scenes are not easy to do. And then to reshoot them is a bigger pain.”
