Sanju box office collection day 2 - SOLID JUMP -- Earned Close to 80 Crores on Day 2

After enjoying a record-breaking opening day, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju showed phenomenal growth on its second day at the box office. The biographical drama raked in Rs 38.60 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 73.35 crore. The film is all set to enter the Rs 100 crore club today at the ticket windows. With this humongous achievement, Ranbir Kapoor will become the only non-Khan and non-Baahubali star to achieve the Rs 100 crore mark in just three days.

Well, while everyone is going gaga over Ranbir Kapoor’s brilliant act, real Sanju aka Sanjay Dutt also praised and him and said he is fantastic. During the trailer launch of Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, when asked for his reaction on Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in “Sanju”, Dutt said: “Ranbir is extra-ordinary in the film. I think the film is fantastic. Rajkumar Hirani, Vicky Kaushal and everybody has done a fantastic job in it. Whatever has been the truth that has been portrayed in the film.”

Sanju is produced under the banners of Fox Star Studios, Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Manisha Koirala and Anushka Sharma Kohli.
